A fresh, new Trade Me homepage!

Earlier this year we decided it was time to redesign the Trade Me homepage. Very few visitors interacted with anything outside of the main search and navigation areas, and we felt that the design was a bit tired.

After testing various designs with some members of our community, today we’re chuffed to release our new design to everyone.

What’s changed?

First, we tidied up the top of the page to make it easier for you to do the things you want to do. This meant removing links that were rarely clicked on, straightening up the design, and making it easier to access stuff relevant to you, like your recent searches and Watchlist.

Then we rejigged the bottom half of the page to help you discover new things like featured listings and Cool auctions.

We have a few more changes coming, but we couldn’t wait to get you using our new design. We hope you enjoy it.
