We’re closing our iPad app and Trade Me Mall

We’re closing down our iPad app as well as Trade Me Mall on 30 April 2019.

There’s no longer a strong need for the iPad app, as we have our iOS app with much better functionality and it’s regularly updated.

Trade Me Mall was an experiment we tried a while back, and with the tiny number of users, we’re no longer able to continue supporting it.

Why are you closing them?

We’re always working hard to improve the experience for our members. To focus on building better products, sometimes we choose to stop providing services that are not highly valued or frequently used by our members so we can focus on those that are.

What do I do if I’m using the iPad app or Trade Me Mall?

For our iPad app users, your best option is to switch over to our iOS app. If your device is too old to use our iOS app, then please visit trademe.co.nz to access the site.

Trade Me Mall users can switch over to trademe.co.nz as their new way to browse Trade Me.
