Hello, hello, hello
Hello from Trade Me headquarters, down on the Wellington waterfront.
As you’ll have seen earlier on, we made some tweaks to our Site Announcements page today. Along with this new look, we’re also kicking off a bunch of posts about different issues, initiatives and ideas that we think might be of interest to Trade Me’s members (and visitors swinging by our site) as up until now we’ve never really had a place to put this stuff.
The hardcore announcements will still be made in a straight up manner – this won’t change. But what this new Site Announcements page gives us is the chance to share a little bit more of what is going on at Trade Me. So, look out for posts on things like:
- the inner workings of Trade Me;
- the thoughts of a disturbing range of Trade Me folks;
- online interview links: radio, TV, newspaper comments;
- news releases with the info periodically unleashed by Trade Me, Trade Me Jobs and Trade Me Property;
- columns, articles and pressos that our people have pulled together;
- shout-outs for charities;
- the best correspondence we’ve received + links to cool stuff that we’re talking about in the office;
- most viewed and most searched for things on Trade Me; and
- stats for the technical boffins out there
