3x cool new site changes today
1. Optional phone number added to delivery information
We’ve had a bit of feedback from sellers who ship larger items, especially those who use couriers. Some couriers won’t deliver packages unless the customer’s phone number is included, so sellers often need buyers to include a contact phone number.
To help things along, we’ve added an optional phone number field for the buyer when they enter their delivery information. It’s not a huge change, but it should make life easier for a lot of sellers.
2. Improved account statements
We’ve also updated account statements to provide more view and export options for members. Members can now view 2,000 transactions across a range, and drill down into credits to separate out refunds, account credits and Top Seller discounts.
3. Better end-of-auction emails
We’ve given our end-of-auction emails a new lick of paint, so it’s clearer when an item on your Watchlist is about to close, or you’ve been outbid, or you’ve received a fixed price offer.
Watchlist reminder emails are now for individual listings and can be set to send one hour, 12 hours or 24 hours before closing. With the 12 and 24 hour reminders, you can also choose to be reminded again later.
