Price reductions and photo changes
The price of additional photos is now 10 cents (down from 25 cents). Your first photo is still free. You can also include up to 5 photos in any listing. Property, Rentals and Motors still have free photos.
The price of Scheduled end times has also dropped to 25 cents (down from 45 cents).
Gallery restrictions removed from Quick Relist
From today you are no longer required to use Gallery promotion with Quick Relist.
Auctions closing delays
We apologise for the delays in auctions closing this morning between 7am and 11am. The technical problem has been resolved, and all auctions affected are in the process of being closed.
Scheduled maintenance
Trade Me will be unavailable from approximately 5:45 am to 6:15 am on Friday the 3rd of March for scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
All auctions closing between 5:40 am and 6:40 am will be extended by one hour.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
Changes to auction withdrawal process
From Wednesday 8 March withdrawing any auction will incur a minimum $2 withdrawal fee. By placing a listing on Trade Me you are making a commitment to sell the item through Trade Me and withdrawing an auction before it is due to close frustrates potential bidders.
You will no longer be able to withdraw auctions less than one hour before they close, this is to minimise the disappointment caused to potential bidders.
