Scheduled maintenance
Trade Me is going to be unavailable between 2am and 5am tomorrow morning while we do some scheduled maintenance and upgrades. All auctions that are due to close between 2am and 6am will be extended by four hours.

Post Haste has launched a new service called Pass the Parcel, which offers new packaging and shipping options for Trade Me sellers. Now you can order packaging and arrange delivery online!
Here’s how it works:

Reminder about free gallery listings
Last Tuesday (20 July) we held a Free Gallery Day as a way to apologise for a muck-up we made back in May - lots and lots of people took advantage of it.
The majority of the freebie Gallery listings will be coming up for relist tomorrow (27 July). For anyone who took advantage of that offer, this is just a friendly reminder that when any unsold items come up for relist, you will need to pay to keep the Gallery feature on. If you want Gallery removed from your listings, please remove the tick from the Gallery box on the Extras page.
We don’t want anyone to get surprised when they see this fee charged.
The mighty Travelbug ski giveaway
Our accommodation site Travelbug is feeling generous and is giving away a set of Tornado XW skis and bindings valued at $1,800.
It is ridiculously easy to enter: visit the ski giveaway entry page, fill in your details and hit the 'enter' button. And, as a bonus, if you make a booking on Travelbug in July using the same email address you’ll get a second entry and double your chance of winning.

Changes to our Help section
We’ve given our Help section a fresh new look, and made some other improvements as well:
- We’ve added FAQs to each Help section (your account, bidding & buying, selling etc).
- We’ve removed the annoying “Did this answer your question? Yes/No” at the bottom of Help pages, and made it much easier for you to contact us.
- We’ve added descriptions on search result pages, so you can read what the pages are about before opening them.
Soon you’ll also be able to add attachments when you use our Contact Us form, making it easier to send us screenshots or photos of any issues. Watch this space!
