QV property reports now available on Trade Me
Are you house-hunting? You can now purchase QV reports on individual properties for just $9.95 using your Trade Me account, without leaving Trade Me Property.
Here’s a sample report, which includes the property’s rateable value, recent sales in the area, and a profile of the neighbourhood.
On most residential and lifestyle property listings, you’ll find the new QV report section below the map and the Buyer’s Checklist, and you can buy the report there.
Once your purchase is confirmed, the report will be emailed to you as a PDF and also saved to your Watchlist, or you can download and print it on the spot.

Changes to job fees
As of today, the fee to list a job has increased from $129 to $149 (including GST), and the cost to feature a listing has increased from $69 to $99 (including GST).
Job pack prices have also risen.

Ian Wishart’s book
Update: The poll has closed and almost 5000 votes were cast. The end result saw 83% (4103 votes) vote against Trade Me allowing the book to be sold on site, and 17% (858 votes) in favour.
The upshot is that based on this feedback from our community, we will not allow this book to be sold on Trade Me, assuming it does eventually emerge from the publisher.
