Christmas bonus for Top Sellers
We’re giving our Top Sellers a well-deserved break over the holiday period. If you’re a Top Seller between 20 December and 3 January you’ll remain a Top Seller until at least 21 February 2010. On 21 February your status will be assessed based on your sales between 11 January and 21 February.
It’s our way of saying Merry Christmas and thanks for your contribution to the Trade Me community. We appreciate that sales tend to dip over the holiday period, so the extension will ensure you keep your Top Seller status over the summer.
Quick relist for sold items
Earlier this year we made a change to the Sold items page, replacing the ‘Quick relist’ function with a ‘Sell identical items’ function. We made this change to allow sellers to create multiple new identical auctions from a sold item, rather than just one relist. However, this change also meant that there was no longer a link available from your sold auction to the relisted auction.
We’ve received consistent feedback from users objecting to the change, and asking for the original ‘Quick relist’ function. We’ve now changed this back, giving you (and your previous bidders and watchers) a link from your sold auctions to the relisted auctions.
Email issues are resolved
Earlier issues sending emails to Microsoft email clients have now been resolved. Thanks for your patience.
Email issues for some members
We are currently experiencing problems sending emails to Microsoft mail clients, this includes Hotmail, MSN, Windows Live and Live.com. It appears that Microsoft are having technical issues and they haven’t been able to receive mail for the last couple of hours. We have been in touch with Microsoft and they are trying to resolve this as quickly as possible. In the mean time please check your My Trade Me pages for updates on any auctions you are participating in.
Advanced operators in sidebar searches
We recently rolled out advanced operators in our top search bar. You can now use these operators in our sidebar searches as well, to perform advanced searches for vehicles, properties, jobs and other specialised categories.

Use quotes " " to find an exact phrase, e.g. "Bob the Builder" More...
