
Internet banking delays
Unfortunately due to the number of Internet banking payments we received over the New Year holidays there is a backlog of payments. We have a team of people working on this and hope to have all payments processed by 6 o'clock tonight. We apologise for this delay and the inconvenience.
6:10 am: Site outage overnight
Trade Me was unavailable from 8:50 pm last night to 6:10 am this morning due to a major equipment failure.
All auctions scheduled to close between 8:50 pm and 8:00 am have been extended by 24 hours. Eg. an auction scheduled to close at 10 pm last night will now close at 10 pm tonight.
We sincerely apologise to all the Trade Me community for the disruption and inconvenience this outage has caused. We will post further updates here if other relevant information comes to hand.
Watchlist reminders
Some members may not have been receiving their Watchlist Reminder emails recently. We have now identified the cause of this issue and resolved it. We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.
Banking delays over Christmas/New Year
Due to the statutory holidays over Christmas and New Year, some payments will take longer to appear on your Trade Me account than normal.
Unfortunately these delays are out of our control. We will process payments as soon as we are able to access them.
These delays will also apply to buyers and sellers using internet banking as payment for Trade Me transactions. More...
Scheduled work tomorrow morning
Trade Me will be unavailable between approximately 1 am and 3 am on Wednesday the 20th of December. All auctions due to close between 1 am and 4 am will be extended by 3 hours.
