You can now include up to 20 photos on all listings (increased from five).
Pricing remains unchanged: the first photo is free and additional photos cost 10 cents each. Photos on Property and Motors listings are free.
Delivery addresses
We have made it easier for buyers to provide delivery details to sellers.
Buyers can store multiple addresses on Trade Me and select the appropriate address for each purchase.
Whenever buyers use this feature we will send the seller an email containing the delivery address and any special delivery instructions. Sellers can access delivery addresses from their Sold items page on My Trade Me by clicking on the 'Delivery address' link, or in the data export by clicking on the 'Export my sold items' link at the bottom of the Sold items page. Payment instructions
We have made it easier for sellers to provide payment instructions to buyers.
"Buyer emails" have been renamed "Payment instructions." These now display the total price to pay including shipping. Buyers simply choose one of the shipping options specified in your listing when they bid or Buy Now.
We encourage all sellers to setup payment instructions and choose to send them automatically at the end of an auction. More...
Scheduled work tomorrow morning
Trade Me may be unavailable for periods between 6:00 am to 6:30 am on Thursday the 7th of September for scheduled maintenance.
All affected auctions will be extended. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
UPDATE: The outage lasted longer than expected. The site was offline until 6:45 am. All auctions scheduled to end between 6:00 am and 7:00 am have been extended.
