New limits for Question and Answer feature
We have limited the number of auctions a member can ask questions on. Members can ask questions on up to 20 different auctions within 24 hours. Multiple questions on the same auction are only counted once.
This will not affect a sellers ability to answer questions or post comments on their auctions.
These limits have been introduced to prevent the misuse of the Question and Answer feature.
Extra photo links now available
When viewing an enlarged photo you can now click between the images (photo 1, 2 or 3) without having to return to the listing itself.
This is to save time when viewing photos, especially if you’re using a dial-up connection.
7:30 pm: Continuing network problems

We’ve experienced some external network problems this afternoon which has affected Trade Me’s availability. The problem has our full attention and we hope to have it fixed very soon.
All auctions closing up to 6 pm have been extended. We apologise for the inconvenience.
Connections from TelstraClear based ISP’s
TelstraClear made a change this morning that prevented members at some ISP’s from reaching Trade Me between 11 am and 12 pm. We understand that the issue has now been resolved.
