Secondhand Dealers Act

On April 1 2005, a new Secondhand Dealers Act comes into force. The purpose of the new Act is to reduce trade in stolen goods and ensure non-Internet traders in particular, keep better records.

Only a very small number of professional Trade Me traders will be affected.

Edit now available when in debt

Sellers can now edit their listings when their Trade Me account is in debt.

You will still need to credit your account to add new listings or promote your existing listings.

Extra photos now Free until the end of January

You can now have up to 3 photos on your auction or classified for no extra charge.
