A privacy policy change comes into effect today
Earlier this month we gave you a heads up about a minor change to our privacy policy which comes into effect today.
We’ve tweaked our policy in light of some awesome services Trade Me is offering, to ensure we’re being upfront and transparent about what we do with your personal information. You can see the new clause 1.g, below:
Scheduled Maintenance
Trade Me is going to be unavailable between 2:00am and 3:00am tomorrow morning for scheduled maintenance. All listings due to close between 2am and 3am will be extended by two hours.

From today you may notice that some of the emails we send you have been refreshed.
What’s changing?
We want to ensure the emails we send are more relevant to you, helpful, and a lot easier on the eye. We’re using a third party tool to help us with this. More...

Earlier tonight we experienced an issue processing some credit card payments – sorry about any pain this caused you.
