Credit card payments problem
Update, 12.22am: This issue has been fixed. Apologies for any inconvenience. ***** Our payment providers are experiencing technical difficulties which are causing some credit card transactions to fail. We are currently working with them to resolve this issue. If your credit card is declined please try again shortly. We apologise for the inconvenience.
Payment Delays - Waitangi Day
The banks shut up shop on Monday 6th February for Waitangi Day, which means some payments to Trade Me accounts will be processed a little later than usual.
If you pay via phone or internet banking after 8pm on Friday 3rd February, the payment won’t be processed until the morning of Wednesday 8th February
Sorry for any inconvenience caused, but that’s the nature of public holidays. Enjoy the long weekend!
Free Gallery for $1 reserve has ended
Our free Gallery for $1 reserve special has now finished. However, any live listings with $1 reserve and free Gallery will continue to show with Gallery until they close.
If you have My Products listings with $1 reserve and free Gallery, then we have turned Gallery off these products so you don’t get charged the Gallery fee when your product relists. However, as with regular listings, any live My Products listings with $1 reserve and free Gallery will continue to show with Gallery until they close.
If you wish to add Gallery back on to your product, please edit the product. Find out how you can easily edit multiple products in one go by going to the ‘Editing products’ section of the Managing your products page.
When you sell items with Gallery they are about 3 times more likely to sell. Gallery listings also sell for twice the price of what listings without Gallery sell for on average and have around twice the number of watchers.

A minus for Gallery Plus
We had an issue over the weekend meaning that Gallery Plus wasn’t available for purchase from midnight Saturday night until this morning. The team fixed it earlier today, but we appreciate it was a pain for members who wanted to use Gallery Plus on their listings. Sorry folks, our bad.
