New investor relations site up & running

As you may have heard, Trade Me became a publicly listed company on the New Zealand stock exchange (NZX) and the Australian stock exchange (ASX) on Tuesday. We're officially called Trade Me Group Ltd, and our stock ticker on both NZX and ASX is "TME".

Payments problem: Visa credit cards

We understand there is current a problem with the credit card processing network for Visa. This is causing some credit card transactions to be declined. The banks are aware of the issue and are working to fix it. If your credit card is declined please try again shortly.

Treat Me Now deals are live & kicking

The first deals on our group buying website Treat Me’s flash new Treat Me Now platform went live in Auckland and Wellington this morning at 12:01a.m.

Treat Me Now is a new way for businesses to offer localised, real-time deals to customers that can be locked, loaded and live within as little as 15 minutes.

There is a heap of $1 treats to look out for over the next few days – everything from calamari and popcorn, to saunas and tenpin bowling.  More...

Credit Card Payments Problem (Resolved)

We understand there is current a problem with the credit card processing network for Visa. This is causing some credit card transactions to be declined.

Free WiFi all go in Christchurch

We’ve been working with some cool companies to get free WiFi up and running in the flash new Re:Start Cashel Mall retail precinct in Christchurch's CBD, and it was officially switched on this week.

Thanks to the good people at Enable Networks, FX Networks and The Press for helping make it all happen. All these companies are committed to helping out in Christchurch and the ongoing efforts to rebuild the city.

The free WiFi network means everyone visiting Re:Start with WiFi capability on their phone, laptop or tablet will be able to surf the internet. The initiative is completely free and public with no commercial or revenue objectives.  More...
