If you pay by these methods, payments made after 10:00 pm on Friday 28 December will not be processed until Thursday 3 January.

Introducing our new-look site
From today, the new-look Trade Me site is ready to be used on all mobile devices. It's still the same safe and secure Trade Me experience, with a fresh new look and a slightly different URL (trademe.nz).
While the new-look Trade Me is a work in progress, this change is another step towards a more helpful, accessible, and simple site.

Scheduled maintenance
Trade Me will be unavailable on Tuesday, 11 Dec between 3am and 6am for scheduled maintenance. All auctions that are due to close between 3am and 6am will be extended by four hours. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
Buyer Protection policy updated
As we announced on 15 November, today we’re making some small changes to the Buyer Protection policy. Along with some small wording adjustments, the main changes are:
• ‘Faulty goods' will be explicitly covered by the Buyer Protection policy.
• When a buyer claims an item isn't as described, then they are now responsible for showing that they have returned the goods to the seller via tracked delivery (or something similar). More...
