Junk mail filter settings

Over the weekend Hotmail have increased all junk mail filters. Members who are registered with a hotmail or msn email address may experience problems receiving our emails.

If you are not receiving Trade Me emails you may need to adjust the junk mail settings on your email account, or add us to your contacts list.

3:45 pm - Technical problems and site outage

We have experienced some technical difficulties this afternoon. The site is now working properly, however to resolve this issue the site will be unavailable between 6pm and approximately 6.30pm this evening.

All affected auctions will be extended by one hour. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Sale of animal parts on Trade Me

We have clarified our policy on the sale of animal bodies and parts on the site.

You may only sell professionally processed pelts and animal parts of non-endangered animals on the site. As the seller it is your responsibility to make sure that the items you are selling to not come from an endangered species. You may not sell animal internal organs.

Collectables- New sub categories

Automotive & transport and Art deco & retro have now been divided into numerous sub categories.

If your item was listed in any of the categories that have been changed, you will be prompted to reselect a category from the new breakdown when relisting. All of the other auction details will be carried over as per normal, including your photo.

Pottery & glass, Stamps & coins

Today we have released a new top level category called "Pottery & glass". This new category includes pottery, porcelain, glass & crystal. We recognise that content in these categories are not just antiques, so this higher level category should gain lots of new attention for sellers, and make it easier to find the perfect piece in one place for buyers.

Stamps & coins have now been joined together, however all sub categories remain the same.
