36 new areas showing recent sold prices in our app
Today we updated the most recent sold prices for many residential addresses in New Zealand on our Trade Me Property iOS and Android app. This includes adding sold prices for 36 new districts.
How do I see this information?
Make sure you have the latest version of the Trade Me Property app, then tap on the ‘Sold’ tab next to ‘For Sale’ and ‘To Rent’. From here, you can find out the last sold price associated with a particular address in New Zealand. More...
‘Categories’ is now 'Marketplace'
Last week we gave you a heads up about a couple of changes we were testing on the desktop site with 50% of members. Today we're making these changes for all members:
• The ‘Categories’ tab on the Trade Me homepage, will now be called ‘Marketplace' and is a new colour.
• If you click on the ‘Marketplace’ tab, you’ll find a new section dedicated to buying and selling on Trade Me. We’ll be trying out some different page designs so you may see this change over time.

Selling a vehicle for under $500?
For a limited time, we’re offering a cheaper fee to list vehicles (as a classified listing) for $500 or less. We’ve dropped the fee by over 50% to just $19.
Upcoming price change for Trade Me Jobs
We’re changing the price of casual job listings, job packs and premium products from 3 October 2016.
Casual listings
The price to purchase a casual job listing will increase from $154.78 + GST ($178 incl. GST) to $169 + GST ($194.35 incl. GST).
Adding a Feature or Branding to your listing will also increase. Features will increase from $86.09 + GST ($99 incl. GST) to $94 + GST ($108.10 incl. GST), while Branding will increase from $30 + GST ($34.50 incl. GST) to $33.00 + GST ($37.95 incl. GST). More...
