We've made changes to help ensure the basic 'ground rules' are clearly outlined for everyone. We're keen to hear your feedback about the changes, so head along to the sticky post under 'Trade Me Discussion' to have your say.

Categories changed: Farming
We’re always looking for ways to improve how items are categorised on Trade Me, to better connect buyers and sellers in our marketplace.
As part of that work, we have made a number of changes to the Farming category to better reflect the range of products available. We’ve added a number of new categories and have taken the opportunity to update some of the category labels. In particular, we’ve brought in new categories for:
- Dairy and milking equipment
- Fertilising & pest control
- Hay making
- Livestock health & management
- Pasture & lawn maintenance
- Planting
- Soil cultivation
- Trailers & transportation More...

Scheduled Maintenance
Just a heads up that Trade Me is going to be unavailable between 2:30am and 3:30am tomorrow morning for scheduled maintenance and upgrades. All auctions that are due to close between 2:30am and 4:30am will be extended by two hours.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
Update: Qualifying for Pay Now
Good news - members with 10 feedback or more are now able to accept payment for sold items using Pay Now. Previously, you needed 50 or more feedback to use this service.
We’re keen for more sellers to experience the benefits of Pay Now, so we've reduced the required feedback rating for members to register. You’ll still need to be Address Verified and have a New Zealand bank account to use Pay Now. If you have any questions about this, drop our customer service team a line.
