Problem crediting Trade Me accounts
We experienced a technical problem between 11 pm last night and 9 am this morning which prevented some people from crediting their accounts. This problem has now been fixed.

Fake “password changed” emails
Some members have received emails that appear to be from Trade Me stating that their password has been changed.
These emails are fake and may have dangerous attachments. If you receive this email please delete it immediately.
Trade Me does not send emails with attachments. For more information on how to stay safe online, please visit our Safe Computing Centre.
Small outage at 10:30 am today
Trade Me will be down for urgent maintenance today for approximately 10 minutes at 10:30 am. All affected auctions will be extended.

Category changes
Today we are merging "Electronics" & "Photography". This category change is a result of user testing and feedback from members. If your item was listed in any of the categories that have been changed, when you re-list you will be asked to reselect a category. All of the other auction details will remain the same.
